Meet the Hialeah Team Behind Vance Gate Repair Hialeah

Every gate we touch in Hialeah goes out with a written price, a photo log, and a technician whose name you already know. Our crew isn’t rotated in from some dispatch pool three counties away. These are the same faces Adrian Vance has worked beside since we built this branch out of commercial access-control jobs in 2014. We don’t do script-readers or commission-chasers. We do people who can read a wiring diagram, explain it in plain Spanish or English, and stand behind what they bolted down.

Our People

Adrian Vance, Owner

I started in 2014 wiring commercial access-control systems for warehouses and logistics yards around Miami-Dade. The habit stuck: every termination gets labeled, every limit switch gets photographed at its set position, and every customer gets the price in writing before I touch a tool. I built Vance Gate Repair Hialeah because I got tired of watching homeowners get handed surprise invoices for “additional labor” they never agreed to. Under Haven Standard Clause 1, that doesn’t happen here. I still ride to jobs when a gate motor’s throwing a fault code I haven’t seen before, or when a customer specifically requests the person whose name is on the truck. My Spanish is functional enough to explain why a FAAC 740 operator keeps over-traveling, and my patience is long enough to do it twice if needed.

Miguel R., Lead Technician

Miguel’s been with us since 2017, which in gate-years means he’s probably seen your exact problem before. He carries factory certifications from LiftMaster and FAAC, and he’s the one we send when a Viking swing-arm operator is chewing through its internal limit switch on a weekly basis. Miguel’s specialty is diagnostic work: he’ll spend twenty minutes with a multimeter and a wiring print rather than start swapping parts to see what sticks. Off the clock, he rebuilds vintage Honda motorcycles in his garage in West Hialeah, which explains why he’s never in a rush to slap a bandage on something that needs proper repair.

Darlenys T., Senior Installer

Darlenys joined us in 2019 after six years installing automated gates for a commercial contractor in Doral. She handles our new installations and full gate replacements, which means she’s the person measuring your driveway slope, checking setback clearances against Hialeah’s fence and gate codes, and marking where the photo-eyes need to sit so they actually see a child on a bicycle. She’s certified on BFT and Linear slide-gate systems, and she’s particularly good at talking homeowners through the difference between a chain-driven and a rack-driven operator without making anyone feel stupid for asking. Darlenys keeps a notebook of every gate she’s installed in Hialeah, with sketches of unusual bracket configurations she might need to reference again. Her dog, a skeptical dachshund named Pancho, sometimes rides along on Saturday estimate calls.

Esteban V., Service Coordinator

Esteban answers the phone when you call (786) 458-8210 at 11 PM because your gate won’t close and you’re not sure if it’s an emergency or just annoying. He’s been with us since 2020, and he’s the reason we can promise a live person 24/7 without resorting to an automated attendant that asks you to press 3 for “gate-related inquiries.” Esteban schedules the calls, confirms the written estimates, and follows up after every job to make sure the photo log and invoice matched what the technician promised. He grew up in Hialeah, knows which neighborhoods flood hard enough to mess with underground loop detectors, and can usually tell over the phone whether you’re looking at a dead transformer or a disconnected safety edge. He also makes the coffee every morning, which the rest of us consider a genuine job skill.

Carlos M., Apprentice Technician

Carlos started with us in 2023 after completing a welding program at Miami Dade College. He’s still building his diagnostic speed, but he’s already better at aluminum TIG welding and hinge reconstruction than some techs with a decade on him. We pair him with Miguel on complex repairs so he learns the electrical side properly, and with Darlenys on installs so he understands why a post has to be set in concrete at a specific depth rather than “deep enough.” Carlos lives near Okeechobee Road and commutes on a bicycle, which means he’s personally invested in making sure our automatic gates actually detect pedestrians and cyclists. He’s working toward his LiftMaster certification and asks more questions than the rest of us combined, which we consider a feature, not a bug.

One Standard, Every Job

One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a poster in our break room. It’s the checklist we run on every dispatch, whether the job is a loose hinge in a Hialeah Gardens backyard or a full access-control overhaul at a light commercial site near the airport. Clause 1 means the price is written and signed before work starts. Clause 4 means you get a photo record of what we found and what we changed. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means if something we repaired doesn’t hold up, we come back and make it right without a conversation about whose fault it was.

We’ve applied this standard across fifteen cities in the network, but the crew you’re reading about here is the one that shows up to your gate in Hialeah. Same people. Same trucks. Same habit of documenting every adjustment. If you want to know who’s coming, we’ll tell you. If you want to know what it’ll cost, we’ll write it down. If you want to know what got fixed, we’ll show you the photos before we leave.
